Coordinated by the Georgian Bay Biosphere, the “Integrated Community Energy and Climate Action Plan”, or ICECAP project is a unique regional model that provides the support that area councils and communities need to progress toward a new energy future that produces fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
Beginning in 2019, the project is a way for all area municipalities and First Nations to understand their greenhouse gas emissions, set targets to reduce them, and implement plans for action.
